Holy crap. Say it ain't so.
One word for you, Kevin Federline. VASECTOMY. Please. VASECTOMY.

US Weekly is reporting that Britney Spears is, in fact, pregnant with Kevin Federline's spawn. According to US:

"Britney Spears, 24, couldn’t hide her pregnancy any longer when she showed up poolside at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas this weekend, sporting a red bikini and a serious bump. The singer is expecting her second child with husband Kevin Federline, 28, sources have confirmed to Us. The couple have been married since September 2004 and have a seven-month-old child, Sean. Federline has a daughter, Kori, 3, and a 21-month -old son, Caleb, from a previous relationship. Spears’ 1999 debut album sold more than 10 million copies. "

Oh.my.god. If this is really true... what the hell is wrong with this girl? She can't even be trusted to put on some fucking shoes and strap her son in the damn carseat. How can she possibly care for another baby? Oh, I forgot. The nanny. The one who put little Sean P. in the highchair that nearly killed him.

Ya'll remember when Britney said she wanted to raise her kids herself and not rely on nannies? Ha. And also... I cannot get images of K. Fed's yucky moist armpits outta my mind. Every picture I see, he's in the wifebeater with the pits showing. Excuse me now while I go throw up a little. God, those poor children.

Donate your lunch, save a life
Ok, so by now you probably know that I am a news anchor and reporter. I do stories every day... but some just really tug at your heart. Such was the case Wednesday, when I met a little boy named Jared.

He's only 4 years old, but Jared's already been through so much. He was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer, at age 2. Thankfully he seems to be in remission, but the disease has a high incidence of relapse. Now his mom is promoting a fundraising effort called Lunch for Life. The idea is, you donate what you'd usually spend on a lunch... to fund research on neuroblastoma, which has no cure.

I just felt such a connection with this family. I loved meeting and interviewing them, and was so sad to hear of all the kids who weren't as lucky as Jared. Please check out the Lunch for Life website, and maybe give a few dollars if you can.

If you'd like to watch my news report on Jared, you can see it here. Just click on "video" to see Jared's story. And, in case you're wondering, I am the news anchor who introduces the story, as well.

Love/Hate
Taking a cue from Janet and sharing my loves and hates of the day.

LOVE: My husband will be home in 3 (count 'em!) THREE days! Wow it's been awhile... can't wait to see him!

HATE: Trying to memorize a script in one day, to fill in as Rizzo in Grease: The Musical, this weekend. Acting is fun, but this last minute understudy stuff is hell!

LOVE: My golden retriever Sophie. I took her to her first dog obedience class today and she was wonderful! :)

HATE: Sophie's hair. My goodness I could create a whole new dog out of all the hair she sheds!

LOVE: A TV-station-that-shall-remain-nameless is interested in interviewing me for a job! Squeee!

HATE: Trying to get in touch with the hiring manager at aforementioned station to set up aforementioned interview... they are always so busy and I hate to leave messages!

LOVE: The rain. Just had our lawn overseeded yesterday and I didn't need to do the whole sprinkler deal, since mother nature handled it for me!

and one final LOVE: the maid. I am blogging right now, while she cleans up Sophie's hair and dusts. Best $60 EVER spent.

Have a great weekend, everyone!
